Continuing BPM’s successful annual free movie with a sustainability theme, this year BPM is proud to present “Meat the Truth” from the Nicolaas G. Pierson Foundation, on Wednesday, November 18, 2015 in the Luna Blou Theater.
The massive global damage caused by meat production and the startling links between meat eating and global warming are the focus of this film. Find out what eating meat does to you, the environment and our planet. Learn about how livestock production is one of the biggest generators of greenhouse gas emissions, accelerating climate change.
The movie is being presented to the public at no cost (drinks excluded). The evening will begin at 19:30. Please see the attached invitation.
Following the movie a panel of experts will give local context to the movie and facilitate a public discussion about meat production, eating meat and making choices in your own diet.
